Accessories of the week
This summer I’ve been looking for the perfect accessories to brighten up my outfits. Often I wear bright, bold costume jewellery to add a touch of glamour to my everyday life and also just to pep up my outfit a little.
Two accessories that have caught my eye this month and I have added to my collection* are both bracelets, with a little added extra.
French Connection at House of Fraser
First up the French Connection multi link and leather strap bracelet from House of Fraser. The website says this is orange, but actually it is more of a soft pink, not even edging on coral. It has two possible lengths for the wearer, varied by poppers, which is great when you have skinny wrists like me and it also means it can suit your sleeve length a little better. The colour is perfect for teaming with a white cotton shirt this summer and printed trousers ( you know how I love a printed trouser) but also can add an edge to a grey marl teeshirt and skinny jeans for more of a rock chick look! Super comfy, if not a little jangly when typing.. note to self remove when writing! This piece is just that little bit different and that is what made it stand out for me.
As it is hard to be able to take an outfit photo and still be able to see the accessories, I have added my instagram photos instead.
Your Fashion Jewellery
My other favourite accessory this week is the Blue Leather Love Wrap Bracelet from Your Fashion Jewellery. This celebrity inspired wrap bracelet comes in one size, but again is adjusted with poppers. I love the width of this; it makes a nice change for me as I am usually one to wear a wide cuff or bracelet. It is light weight and such an awesome vivid blue, which works so well with the gold LOVE detailing on the bracelet.
I’ve worn this bracelet to clash with reds and oranges, as well as add a touch of a nautical theme with its seafaring blue tone, and whilst I am not normally a gold wearing gal, I am rather smitten but the Love bracelet.
