Weekly Lust | Print Shift Dress
Currently I am massively hooked on printed trousers. From bistro crop at Boden to cigarette style at Gap, a little peg leg on the way courtesy of Mary Katrantzou’s AW14 collection – obsessed, totally.
But actually maybe it is the print itself. Searching for something bright and bold to brighten up a dreary february day.. longing for Spring to have sprung.
This week’s weekly lust piece comes courtesy of somewhere I wouldn’t normally look. A colleague of mine asked for a spot of advice on the shirt buying front. After much discussion we came across T. M Lewin’s rather funky new season collection. The normally very formal men shirt and suit company now has an amazing womenswear section.
I was drawn in by the print of the Aileen Tile Print dress and also the amazing shape. This dress would look fabulous in the boardroom and I love the little pop of colour with the citric yellow banding around the neckline. Classic yet modern. I’d team this with a further pop of colour with azalea pink heels and a silver clutch.
A strong look for a day in the office, and a turn up for the books from T.M Lewin.
