APC AW14 | Avenue 32
A.P.C Design clothing is one of THE brands of the moment. With a recent (and final) collection with a certain Mr Kanye West inspired by military style and a funky edge to their AW14 collection, founder Jean Touitou knows a thing or two about fashion. A.P.C are all about an understated aesthetic and put across a relaxed Gallic style but with huge attention to detail.
A.P.C. technically stands for Atelier de Production et de Création but really it is just a label, the clothes speak for themselves and in the first few collections there was no label or brand at all. They fashion brand is all about production; with all of their fabrics being designed exclusively for A.P.C. There is no over design, it’s effortless chic for women and down to earth fashion for men with a discreet nod to luxury.
This Autumn/Winter it’s back to basics; from the wide Breton stripe long sleeved tee, to a basic alpaca superfine jumper that can be casually thrown on top. Mixing in key basics such as the black flat ankle boot and the peacoat for a refined yet relaxed look.
Here are my picks from the A.P.C Autumn/Winter collection available at Avenue 32, a look that wouldn’t be out of place in a Parisian café or walking the markets in a French town this season.
- Dark Navy Merino Stripe Jumper
- Anthracite Leather Flat Ankle Boots
- Camel Superfine Alpaca Jumper
- Black Leather New Tote Bag
- Navy Wool Soho Peacoat
