Beauty Box | fatgirlsleep & win a beauty box
This week I’ve been testing out the fabulously names fatgirlsleep from Bliss, a skin firming cream to target that dreaded cellulite area. Now I’m not ashamed to admit I have the odd bit of cellulite. Although I work out and eat and drink healthily (most of the time!) it still exists. It’s a genetic thing that us ladies just have to contend with in life.
Bliss fatgirlsleep
The fatgirlsleep concept comes from the same concept behind Bliss’ very successful fatgirlslim cream. This version is a “potent PM version with slenderiZZe complex™”. Bliss fatgirlsleep is a night time version of their award-winning Fatgirlslim firming cream that helps firm skin and slenderise while you sleep. Perfect… why take precious day time minutes on this job when it can be done in your sleep!
So how does it work?
Bliss fatgirlsleep releases firming ingredients and soothing lavender for up to 6 hours whilst you doze. It is a grey clay like substance that is quite thick, so you don’t need a lot. You massage into your trouble spots for 20-30 seconds before bedtime. Now a word of warning here, don’t put your pj’s or silky lounge attire on straight away as the product is quite tacky. Make sure it dries properly first.
The lavender helps to promote a sleep-friendly environment plus it means it doesn’t have a strange odour like most cellulite busting products. It contains Sacred lotus flower that focuses on the four causes of cellulite: fat storage, fat burning, water retention, and slackened skin. Make sure you give your legs a good circular massage whilst rubbing in the cream.
The cream helps to make the most of your body’s overnight restorative process and in the morning if you want to complete the chain completely then follow up in the morning with fatgirlslim and love handler… ooer!
I’ve only been using it for about two weeks and I must admit I have to remember to apply it just before bed. But I have noticed that my skin is smoother, the texture is much better and I’m rather happy with how my pins look. Just remember to complement it by drinking enough water every day (8 glasses, come on you can do it!)

I actually do manage the 8 glasses of water a day – most of that is sparkling water though, usually with a slice of fresh lemon or lime to jazz it up a bit!

I prefer drinking mineral water because the water in my area is amongst the highest in the country for limescale which can cause kidney stones..

I think your body gets used to you drinking the recommended eight glasses of water … although it does seem a lot at first … personally I go for tap water … the bottled stuff is just so expensive!
