Bespoke HQ Aston Martin Collection – Fashion Show
This week two of my passions combined. Aston Martin and fashion; at the Bespoke HQ Fashion Show at the Clerkenwell Collection. Designer Stephen Williams showcased his latest mens and womenswear in amazingly well put together tailored collection.
The main event was the launch of the Aston Martin collection, viewed by celebrities that are famous for sporting Stephen’s designs. Barbara Windsor, Joe McElderry, Thom Evans and Melanie Sykes, to name a few. I’m a little bit obsessed with the beauty and design that is Aston Martin cars; so I couldn’t wait to see the Aston Martin Bespoke HQ collection.
I was intrigued to see if Stephen would focus on the image, the passion, the feeling of being an Aston Martin driver; or the whether there would be more focus on design, the concept and the precision of Aston Martin as a car. Well the collection combined both elements fantastically well. The cut of the cloth, the tailoring, the design and the colour mix was simply divine.
I’ve taken a few close ups of the textures, the detail (elbow pads) the looks to give you a glimpse at the collections from Stephen Williams.
I loved the womenswear as well. It was pleasant surprise to me, I was just there for the mens fashion!. I love the ladies country chic style cropped riding jacket – perfect for a day at the polo at Hurlingham. I love the look with a crisp white shirt and well fitting dark denim jeans.
If I am looking for a classic, well cut, but modern edge suit for the office, I will be calling on Stephen Williams. Pure brilliance in the design stakes and bespoke tailoring that is second to none and really gives an edge to what is available from the high street and other bespoke design agencies.
Mr LadyM Presents was suitably (pardon the pun) impressed with the menswear collection. This was his first fashion event and it set the bar high for future events!
Style points noted for future reference; the one cm visibility of the pocket square, colour matching the finer details of the suit and your tie. Skinny ties, red socks, beautiful cut lines and dapper cuts. He was wooed by the bespoke collection and the models on the catwalk portrayed the perfect James Bond look for day and for night.
