Buki Koshoni Fashion Photographer
As I packed my bags for New Zealand Fashion Week and a few weeks holiday post the fashion madness, I needed to work out a transitional wardrobe. New Zealand in September is just moving into Spring. The sun is stronger there, so it can get super hot during the day but at night time the temperature can drop. There were a fair few mornings, sipping my wakeup coffee when I needed something to keep the cold at bay.

So I am super glad that I packed my Buki Koshoni sweatshirt. This truly is wearable art. Buki takes his amazingly staged high fashion shots and coverts them into books, prints, posters but more importantly awesome sweatshirt and tshirts. The brand is a great unisex luxury collection, designed to be worn with a loose feel. I chose The Model sweatshirt in black to review, which is no longer available, but there are six other cool designs to choose from.

For £60 they are great value as it’s super comfortable, feels great to wear, keeps you warm and is ultra stylish. A 80% cotton, 20% polyester mix. I think this is a great piece for Autumn/Winter. Layer up with some denim and studded boots and you have a great look.
About Buki Koshoni
Buki Koshoni is a Lagos born, London based photographer and director who builds cool fashion stories. He creates an image that tells a personal story, they are come alive with an atmosphere that’s hard to describe. Edgy, sometimes a little raw and captivating, Buki combines fashion and bodies in a sculptural way and now he has his work available in a range of fashion products.
After honing his craft at St Martins, London, Koshoni has released a number of books celebrating the art of portraiture. He has also directed several music videos, commercials and television programmes. But his passion and creativity really come alive in the prints, books and clothing that he now works on.
