Thanks, Sara! I’ve heard a lot of good things about the Christmas box, makes me wish I’d resubbed earlier.

I definitely think you could get the Clarins samples if you were very nice to the staff on the counter! And agree re: Eyeko. By process of elimination, that has to be the full sized product we usually get, so…not too happy about that, really!

I completely agree with everything said in this post. My first Glossybox was the Christmas one which was completely exceeded my expectations. I was aware that they wouldn’t all be that amazing but this recent one was a major disappointment. I’m pretty sure I could get the Clarins samples if I hung around a counter for long enough! I feel like I have essentially spent a tenner on the Eyeko pencil (which happened to be a little on the blunt side and what is up with the long handle/cheating us with less product?) Not impressed!

Thanks Rebecca. You definitely got lucky! This is why I think they should give everyone the same box at the moment; at least until they use those beauty profiles we filled out when we joined! I would have been extremely happy with those Davines products, and would have liked to try the pale pink liner!
But as I said, I signed up knowing the products would be a surprise, and that isn’t my issue – it’s the rest of it: the carelessness, the delay, the over-hype. I’ve heard good things about Carmine, and Feel Unique. I might try Jolie Box (which was introduced as Boudoir Prive but got bought out very rapidly.) If I do, I’ll write a review on here!

Good, honest review. This is my 3rd Glossy Box & to be honest although I follow them on both Twitter & Facebook I have refrained from reading the reviews until I got my box. I think you would call me one of the lucky ones as I managed to bag myself both Davines products along with the pale pink Eyeko liner so no complaints here. I would love to know if anyone has tried some of the other Beauty Boxes on the market as I am keen to test an alternative if recommended
