Dessine-moi un soulier launches in the UK
Shoes can be such a personal thing. Often women build an outfit from the shoes up. So with the opportunity to design your own shoes, be creative and play dress up, it really is possible to have your shoe dreams come true!
The successful Paris based shoe company, Dessine-moi un soulier, is stepping out of France and is allowing the British public to get in on the self shoe design process.
Juliette and Alma, two young and ambitious French Fashionistas meet through common friends and discovered very soon that they shared one love and one problem. They absolutely loved shoes but they always wanted to change something when buying shoes. Following their first meeting the vision for Dessine-moi un Soulier came to life and Juliette and Alma worked for two years before launching their online store in September 2011. Now it has launched in the UK, so you can design your shoes that are then made in the small French village, Romans-sur-Isère, which is pretty special compared to the mass produced Asian produced footwear most of us wear these days.
For customers of Dessine-moi un soulier there are endless options of styles, colours and materials. You can buy the standard shoes in the collection but you can also customize them. Prices start from £150 and increases depending on material chosen. With that comes a 4-6 week delivery time, yes not the same as popping down to the shops to get a pair of shoes, but then – these are YOUR shoes, designed by you and no-one else will have them.
These blue booties are my absolute favourite – check out the sparkly heels!
Dessine-moi un soulier is a creative, colourful and sparkling company who is spreading a lot of warmth around Paris and wants to accomplish the same in England. So give them a try, give some individuality to your wardrobe.
