Elizabeth Dunn – Tran-seasonal shoe collection
When it comes to shoes,our collection here at LadyM Towers rarely features just a plain black heel. We love colour, experimentation with style and something a little different.
A few seasons ago at London Fashion Week we met the fabulously talented British shoe designer Elizabeth Dunn and were wowed by her collection, now as we head into the Spring of 2012 she has launched a tran-seasonal collection of her bespoke range of footwear.
The Elizabeth England collection is a bespoke range of footwear consisting of 15 hand made pieces which are composed from 8 designs. Designer Elizabeth has designed the collection with both Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter in mind, the objective of the range is practicality in all weather conditions and they are made in England. We love the chunky heels and amazing colour palette.
The collection has the iconic Elizabeth Dunn style, unusual ‘show-pieces’ but also including more practical classic styles.
What we love is how Elizabeth takes her designs and creates some amazing pieces; five of her designs are only one piece of leather moulded to the last without any stitching, showing the simplicity of modern techniques and highlighting the connection between rawness and glamour.
Three of the designs have been hand painted with sunsets by the amazing Claire Barrow.
The Elizabeth England collection has strong feminine qualities with practical design details, which are key design features of Elizabeth Dunn footwear.
