Fashion Month Outfits Post #3

Wow, after the whirlwind that was London Fashion Week, I have finally managed to sit down, write up my reviews and get photo editing. You might already have had a sneak peak into my outfits for London Fashion Week via Instagram, Twitter or from EJM Fashion’s Style Team posts.

Fashion Month Outfit Post #3

I was a member of the Style Team for LFW sharing my street style and my outfit choices. This meant I had to focus on what to wear as it was going to be retweeted a lot, which gave me good incentive to get the outfits fun, stylish and wearable for long days at LFW.

Day 1

LFW1

For day one of LFW I knew what I wanted to wear for ages. The fabulous Topshop zebra shirt. As seen being worn by Alex Jones of The One Show (but I wore it first to the Dote London press day!). I teamed this with wax jeans from Max a NZ store, a Stella & Dot bracelet, Phase Eight collar and my trusty black Anthropologie wedges that you must be sick of seeing me in now. But they are perfect for this time of year. I wanted some height for LFW but not heels, the cobbles at Somerset House are killer and 10 hours in heels dashing from show to show calls for a wedge!

Day 2 – Johari Style Challenge

For day two I had a challenge to meet. Just before London Fashion Week, ethical fashion brand Johari – who I have worked with previously , got in touch with me about their Johari style challenge. The aim was to choose one piece from their collection and style it for fashion week. I chose the Nzuri teeshirt – as I felt it was a really great piece to wear in all manner of situations, and I really wanted something to wear with those snakeskin lounge pants!

This is the outfit I wore to the Issa London show – Nzuri Johari Tee, Snakeskin lounge pants from an NZ Boutique, Romeo & Juliet Couture leather jacket.

Day 3

Day 3 for me, Sunday of LFW was all about getting content online. I spent a long time writing that day and was staying in to watch Mary Katrantzou, my favourite designer on a live stream. Before realising as she had changed venues this year there was no live stream! Argh! In the evening I had the private view of Sculpture Wedding to attend. I had featured this previously and was intrigued to see the event in the flesh as it were. I met my friend Kathryn and since we were a little early to the event we ended up having cocktails at Claridges! As you do. As a huge fan of the show “Inside Claridges” this was very exciting indeed. Plus I had been loaned an Anya Sushko clutch for the evening so I couldn’t wait to hit the town with it. Review on the bag coming soon. I wore a Rare London Atmosphere dress to the event.

Day 4

Day 4 at London Fashion Week for me was about meetings and a pre-record for BBC Radio Kent. So I was a little smarter than average for me at LFW. I love this Maison Scotch Teeshirt – I have a massive thing about teeshirts with these kind of images on the front. I teamed it with Mint Velvet khaki jeans and a blazer from Berskha.

Day 4 to 6

Day 4 to 6

Day 5

Back to the office and the day job for day 5. I sported a new Boden wrap jersey top that was super comfy. My Mint Velvet khaki jeans again and a pair of edge boots from EMU Australia.

Day 6

Friday night; grill night at The Beacon, Tunbridge Wells. From this week’s Boden haul I wore the Ledbury dress that is über comfy. Along with you guessed it my Anthropologie black wedge boots (we walked back from the restaurant) and my new purchase a coral satchel from Accessorize. Plus the Phase Eight Collar Necklace again as I love it!

That’s it for Fashion Month posts. I hope you have enjoyed an insight into my outfits. I might throw in a few “What I’m wearing” posts every now and again as I have enjoyed doing it – plus it makes me not wear the same principle outfits week in week out!
