On the go | get shredded eating and supplement plan

This week for fitness friday, Dan Chapman our resident personal trainer has an on-the-go eating and supplement plan to compliment the fitness programmes we have featured before. You can check them all out here.

The eating and supplement plan is designed specifically for people on the go and can of course be adapted.  It’s pure simplicity has a purpose and it’s similar to what Dan eats when he is “looking to get ripped” and needs to intake protein from real foods that need no prep at all. So here he is to explain his eating plan.

I don’t believe in measuring or weighing food as this is too diet like and is not my way of life . My clients benefit from this enormously and love the simplicity and easy choices, so we hope that you do too. Sometimes I find having to prepare different recipes every day off putting and going the more robotic repetitive route is less daunting and feels more achievable knowing you only need certain proteins  and carbs each day to achieve the desired goals.

On the go get shredded eating and supplement plan

Make sure you are eating every 3-4 hours!

Meal 1

Small portion Porridge with water
3-5 Egg whites any way
Drink half ltr water

Meal 2 snack 

Half Chicken breast
Apple
1 Nairns oat cake
Drink half Ltr Water

Meal 3 lunch

0% fat Cottage cheese / tuna or chicken breast
salad
Drink half ltr water

Meal 4 snack

Half Chicken breast or small serving of cottage cheese
Handful walnuts /blueberries
1x narins oat cake
Drink Half ltr water

Meal 5 zero carb

Cottage cheese or /fish / chicken breast / turkey
Drink Half ltr water

Supplement Stack 

  • Branched Chain Amino Acids (BCAA) – 5-10 grams of BCAAs is all you need to maximize fat burning help muscle development and fuel your cardio session
  • Fish Oil – Take 2-3 grams of EPA+DHA per day
  • Multivitamin – Choose a multivitamin that covers all your nutritional bases
  • L Carnitine: 1000mg – this can assist with weight loss. It also has potential anti-ageing properties and mental focus.  As a dietary supplement take 2 tablets 2 to 3 times daily.
