Ingenue London – AW13 Collection
We may be receiving a little bit of a mini Late Indian Summer at the moment, but we are still looking toward Autumn/Winter and getting our wardrobe prepped for the season ahead.
Ingenue London’s directional new AW13 collection sees the introduction of grungy faux leather separates, animal prints and ladylike shapes as seen on the season’s catwalks – perfect as new season pieces for your wardrobe edit.
We love the faux leather separates, as the latest must have for autumn/winter is the perfect leather look skirt. There are a lot of mini leather skirts out there so the Edel faux leather cross over front skirt from Ingenue is a fabulous break from that and our own little trend.
Our favourite piece from the Ingenue London collection is the Tara Feather Pink dress. Simply gorgeous, bright for the season where we covet a little colour on dark days.
Take it from day to night with a fabulous pair of heels and a simple colour block clutch. The Tara Dress has a round neckline with pleating at the waist and back of the dress. Soft pleating at the side of the dress also to flatter body shape.
Print is in this season. You may think that leopard print is out, but there are some fabulous ways of styling it.
Such as the Edel Skirt in Animal Brown – team with a black poloneck or a smart blouse; add a chunky gold necklace to set the look off and team with pair of stylish black leather heels.
