Jeetly – Premium office wear for petite women
Recently we have featured top tips on how to style your wardrobe for the office. It can be a bit of a mine field. Too smart and unapproachable, or too casual and unprofessional… hem lengths, heel heights, it can all be a bit overwhelming. It can be even harder if you are petite. Trust me, as someone who has always been petite, although I am just over the height of the official petite level, of 5’3” and under, I know how hard it can be to shop for the right pieces for the office.
Jeetly
The stylish petite work wear brand founded has been by Jess Jeetly, a petite woman herself who always had to alter clothes that she bought, and constantly on the search for the ultimate, well fitted pieces for women of her size. Jess understands the ‘Fit’ issues affecting petite women believes if customers are buying the products, they should have some control over the production process.
“For too long petite clothing choice has been determined by fashion designers who indicate which styles are on-trend each season, and these decisions may be totally irrelevant and unsuited to a petite figure”, says Jess.
Women’s business wear is not traditionally driven by fashion trends. I guess you could say a suit is a suit and a pencil skirt is a pencil skirt. But there are hem lengths, tailored cuts and of course colours to contend with. Jeetly Petite workwear is for confident petite women who not only wish to look classy, feminine and chic, but prefer to be directional with their work attire, rather than purely fashion-led. So this is a great opportunity to work seasonal colours but in investment piece workwear outfits.
IN or OUT
Jeetly showcases their range of exclusive design samples online so that they can be voted in or out of the next season’s collection. I love that they are giving customers a bit of power in their fashion decisions and an involvement in the industry! You can comment on each design, about the cut, the style, the colourways and even chat to friends through social media to really find out what petite women want.
So it’s really quite simple. Then it’s time to decide….The red button is for trashing the design OUT completely, the grey button is to keep it IN for next season. Jeetly also names the garment after the customer with the most popular suggestion viable for production – how cool is that! Have a go here, and have your say. We could be wearing a jacket or tailored dress with your name on it!
