Knomo Jesi Laptop Bag Review
Recently I have been doing a lot of travelling for my day job. Fruit sales and operations calls for travel throughout the UK, Europe and occasionally when I’m lucky to South America and Australasia. One thing I really struggle with is hand baggage for the flight. I have to take a weighty laptop, notebook, purse, two phones – the list goes on…
Just before my latest trip to see growers in Spain, I was offered the opportunity to test out and review the Jesi laptop bag from Knomo. Well, I jumped at the chance. My current black laptop bag cannot be classed as stylish, it is also not roomy or that practical. So when I was sent the link to the bag and saw its beauty online, I was very excited.

When the bag arrived at the office and I opened the package I literally gasped out loud. Although the colour is called terracotta, their new spring colour, on the website, I would say this bag is more of a hot coral – I love this colour for summer and just looks fabulous. Gone are the days of boring black laptop bags and brown leather briefcases. This fabulously bright Knomo bag will turn heads on the train, in a meeting, at the airport, wherever! Technically it’s classified as a slim briefcase, which is rather exciting for me, my first briefcase!

The real test for me was taking only this bag on the flight with me as my hand baggage allowance. This meant it needed to be a laptop bag and a handbag in one.
So with a mission to take on I managed to cram in the following;
- 15″ laptop
- iPad 4
- One book – Adriana Trigiani – “the wisdoms of my grandmothers” – a great read FYI!
- A5 notebook
- Pair of glasses
- Phone charger
- Pied a Tierre clutch purse – it’s neon pink did clash a little with the coral/terracotta, oh well brights are in this season!
- Separate Euros purse
- Passport
- Two iPhones
Pretty good don’t you think. Yes it weighs a fair bit now but it all fits in and does up perfectly – later on in my travels I event had a bursting A4 jotted pad tucked in the side too. This bag is fabulously practical, roomy, and stylish without being too big. After a few comments on twitter about quality of zips and how they last, I was a little wary of over filling the bag. But I just took care when opening and closing the zippers and all the fixtures and fittings seemed to be of the best quality.

The leather is so fabulous and the lining, well, it’s a gorgeous mustard colour that compliments the coral really nicely. Extra quilted padding gives security to knowing your laptop and other electrical items will be well looked after and there is even a online registration of your bag with a unique identification number should you sadly part ways.

This was the first trip that I have not taken a large handbag with me to fill with all my belongings, essentials and non essentials. It really was great to travel with just a mini suitcase and a laptop bag. I think my days of a boring black laptop bag are over. It’s the same way I feel about shoes. Why go for black when you can go bright? Go on, stand out from the crowd with Knomo.
