Ladies and Gentlemen, there becomes a time in our lives when we just need some TLC and some relaxation. Last week I found that at Vanity Fair, Beauty Salon in Royal Tunbridge Wells.

I came across Vanity Fair through the wonder of Twitter and soon hot-footed it down to 144 Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells, Kent. To find a delightful and enchanting, Parisian feel beauty salon.  Run by the lovely Jess Butler and her fabulous Mum as receptionist, these gorgeous ladies welcome you to a very stylish, chilled out pamper zone.

History & Focus

Vanity Fair has been open since the 8th October 2009 and Jessica has over 6 years experience in the beauty industry. Her specialisms are theatrical and cosmetic makeup and hot stone massage. She is also training in Reiki, which is something I recently tried and I am very much looking forward to her becoming qualified.

As well as her star treatment of hot stone and back, neck and shoulder massage; Jessica also offers manicures, pedicures and is often overwhelmed with the demand for spray tanning, especially as the weekend approaches. The basis for her treatments is Thalgo, which involves the use of natural active marine algae for a natural side of beauty and wellness treatments.

Treatments

The salon is one of sublime but muted elegance, with French style furniture, warm cappuccino and biscuit colours and you get a very personal approach from the team which really makes them stand out from any other salon in Tunbridge Wells. Jessica lives beauty day in day out and her passion for the business shines through here. Every month there is a promotion on offer; this month with any booking of a back, neck and shoulder massage or full body massage, there is a free upgrade to hot stone massage.

Jessica believes the start of spring will lead to “an increase in demand for pedicures to get those feet ready for summer and even more interest in spray tans”. Her top tip for our skin and bodies is to “moisturise, moisturise, moisturise from a young age, whether it is a hydrating cream or anti-aging and should be done morning and night”.

I succumbed to a gorgeous hot stone massage and it was simply delightful. So I can tell you from personal experience that this salon is THE place to go in Kent for fabulous beauty treatments . As their advertising tag-line says “beautiful treatments for beautiful people”.
