London Fashion Week SS15 Preview | Competition
From Friday the 12th to Tuesday 16th September, London’s Somerset House gets taken over for London Fashion Week. In the courtyard, the British Fashion Council Showspace is erected to make one of the most important runways in the fashion world. There are also fashion shows and presentations taking place across the capital during one of the most famous and infamous fashion events in the world.
As well as the best of British design heading down the runway there are also some amazing international designers on the schedule for London Fashion Week. Tom Ford returns for his catwalk show on Monday 15th September, whilst LFW stalwarts FELDER FELDER, J.W Anderson and Mary Katrantzou maintain their spots in the hottest ticket in town competition.
Issa A/W 13 London Fashion Week
I’m mostly looking forward to seeing Bora Aksu, Emilia Wickstead, Christopher Raeburn and of course one of all my all time favourites, Issa. Paul Smith will be showing giving a great range of womenswear, usually with the occasional menswear piece thrown in. Hunter Original will be back for Spring/Summer 15, so it will be interesting to see their show after last season’s puddle stomping wet runway!
PPQ London Fashion Week
Every season I also go to see “Off Schedule” shows. This is where I get to find all the up and coming designers and where the origins of LadyM Presents concept derives from. About five seasons ago now, I met the fabulous designer Omar Mansoor and this season he is showing at Fashion International SS15 Multi-Designer showcase. Omar always puts out an amazing collection and his dresses are just beautiful.
