If you’re planning your summer holiday, don’t let the thought of Switzerland being a cold, ski resort only break put you off. It is not, let me tell you – it offers so much more, more than the Swiss chocolate, cheese, cow festivals and watches that you are also stereotyping in your head (yes I know you are thinking about Toblerone!)
Think outside the box and also use the latest app to show your more of what Switzerland has to offer with the Make My Switzerland app that is now available.

The Make My Switzerland interactive app matches your mood to the seven cities classed as A+ in the country. Whether you are in a Cultural, Stylish, Social or Active mood – the app will help you make the most of your time with activities to suit your mood. I can’t wait to see what the Stylish offerings across the seven cities are. Why seven cities? Well there are ambassadors who have given their top tips, secret guides and sourced the best information so that you can get the best out of the following top cities;
- Bern, Basel, Geneva, Lausanne, Zurich, Lugano, Lucerne
The Make My Switzerland app is a great way of learning more about each city. Whether it’s Isabelle telling you about the old town of Bern, as a UNESCO World Heritage Site; boasting one of the longest weather-sheltered shopping promenades in Europe. Luc knows his stuff about Lausanne, the second-largest city on Lake Geneva, combining a dynamic commercial town with the locality of a holiday resort. Ernest can tell you all there is to know about Lucerne via the app; it’s the place to be for attractions souvenir and watch shops and a beautiful lakeside to take in central Switzerland. I don’t want to give away all the secrets from the Ambassadors – you’ll have to check out the app for yourself.
