McArthurGlen’s Fashion Fling – Style Challenge Post 4

Let’s take a recap on the Style Challenge I am taking part in. This is the last week in the Fashion Fling Fortnight at McArthurGlen designer outlets in the UK and I’m now styling my second piece.

McArthurGlen designer outlets are having a nationwide Fashion Fling. It started on the 6th April with some fabulous Grazia led styling classes, and events and runs until this Sunday 21st April.

McArthurGlen designer outlets are all over the country and are the place to grab fabulous fashion at a fraction of the recommended retail prices. We’re not talking last season either; current trends are also available from designer labels and high end fashion stores such as Kurt Geiger, Reiss, Sunglasses Hut, Ted Baker and many many more.

“Fashion savvy shoppers who want to flirt with hot off the runway spring trends, McArthurGlen’s Fashion Fling is the must-visit style event of the season”.

You can make a day of it at McArthurGlen and during Fashion Fling fortnight look out for their flash sales on this seasons must have Spring pieces; make sure you grab your Grazia tote bag exclusive to the event and act like a star and have your photo taken for their Fashion Fling photo wall.

Style Challenge

So my challenge for these two weeks is to post six style posts of outfits I have styled thanks to two key fashion pieces McArthurGlen have kindly gifted to me. First up the Natalie wedge shoe from Carvela by Kurt Geiger. Done, three ways, you can check them out here.

The second piece is the cutest Lacoste Live scarf full of fun illustrations of holiday essentials. It is delightful and beautiful but this one is more of a challenge. It is a square scarf and it is smaller than your average scarfs so proves tricker to style…..

Fashion Fling Style 4

For the Fashion Fling fortnight I will be styling each piece in three ways; a work outfit, a shopping trip with the girls and a dinner date. So here is the work outfit… I think I look a little Parisian, a little bit foreign language teacher in this look. I like it; it freshens up a look well with a key accessory without being to OTT.  In the middle shot, i’ve loosened the ends slightly to give a little twist on the overall look.

Here i’m styling it with;

  • Mint Velvet Khaki Jeans
  • Black Vest from GAP
  • Boden Coral Cropped Cardigan
  • Black Heels from New Look

Join me for the other two challenges that really are a challenge as I get a little stuck in to how to make a square scarf work! Watch this space.
