Paul Smith Autumn/Winter 13 – Mens Underwear
This week I was sent a sneaky peak at the Paul Smith Autumn/Winter 13 Mens underwear campaign. There was no lookbook, no samples, just a link to a youtube video. So of course I clicked on the link and sat down with a cup of coffee to watch it.
The short film starts with two rugged looking men climbing up a snowy mountain.. odd.. for an underwear advert.
Then the men start stripping off.. and do crazy balancing tricks very high up above an Alpine city, just in their pants. But no ordinary pants, Paul Smith pants. This online film is all about celebrating the launch of the Paul Smith Autumn/Winter 13 Underwear campaign.
The short film was directed by Sebastian Rosset-Montaz and what we realise as it progresses and these men do their mountainous balancing acts, is that they are not just male models but extreme athletes, Antoine Moineveille and Tancrède Melet from Montaz’s 2011 film, I believe I can Fly, Flight of The Frenchies to celebrate the launch of a new line of underwear from Paul Smith.
Here it is!
Well it certainly got our attention on this grey Autumnal day!
Paul Smith menswear and underwear is available from the Paul Smith online store which also lists stockists around the world.
