#weeklylust | Phase Eight Maya Print
After arriving back from the South of France, despite the UK still being in a mini heatwave; I’ve got that back to school feeling and that means it’s time to talk Autumn/Winter 14 trends.
This week for my #weeklylust I’ve teamed up with British High Street fashion stalwart, Phase Eight by picking their Maya print tunic dress. Now a) you should know by now how much I love a print and b) a tunic dress is perfect for styling smartly for the office and then upping the wow factor for a night out.
As seen on the AW14 catwalks, whimsical watercolours are set to be a key trend this season. The Maya print tunic dress, as the team at Phase Eight explain, “allow [you] to look as pretty as a picture”. There is a nod to the paintbox trends we saw at Chanel and Celine for spring/summer, but it goes a little softer for this season. “With colourful brushstrokes, skilful splodges and creative paint splashes of pink, burnt orange, jade green and coffee, this art inspired print is one for the creative spirit inside all of us.”
I’m teamed a whole little selection from Phase Eight to accompany the Maya print tunic dress, my#weeklylust this week.
