Pin It Forward – Pinterest my new addiction!
A few weeks ago I was invited by Pinterest to their launch party for their Pin It Forward UK campaign. As a late convert to Pinterest I jumped at the chance to meet fellow pinners, understand more about the campaign and to hear from founder Evan Sharp on the concept, creation and future of the huge online social tool.
Pinterest is a tool for collecting and organizing the things you love. It gives me a place to create the moodboards that are in my head, otherwise my office would have every wall covered with magazine cut outs, photos, fabric samples, little trinkets. This is my one place to keep everything organized; my board titles for each subject matter makes it easy and I can pin and move things about as I please. The high definition images are fabulous and I love that I can browse the web whilst being on Pinterest and bring images onto boards from my favourite magazines, boutiques and online stores. I use it on my ipad mostly as its easy to use and I can refer to it whenever I am working. Plus I use the Pinterest app on my iphone when I’m out and about travelling and need inspiration.
Of course I pin about fashion that I love. Hence my favourite board “Fashion days are all a haze” , but I also have my dream items in “One Day”, the shoes that I covet in “Shoe Love” and my travelling inspiration in “Travel”.
You can register for Pinterest via this link and join me in the fun, let your imagination run riot – see you there!
My fellow lovely fashion blogger from Feathers & Frills, Victoria Archer is also a keen pinner. You can check her boards out here. She will be writing about why she uses Pinterest and featuring her favourite board on her blog– so make sure you check it out.

Great post! Love your pictures from the party (hope you had a great time!). Thanks for joining us in the campaign. Pinterest is really great for coveting clothing items just like everything in your One Day board!
