I’ve given myself a little Pre Christmas Mission… I love a shopping mission. After our fabulous fashion shoot in the Basement of Hoopers, Tunbridge Wells; I headed back there, this week to snap up the InWear Daliles leopard print pencil skirt.

Amelia wore it so well and we teamed it with the InWear Avalona jumper (I may have also purchased this item too!). But, it’s quite a skirt. Leopard print in a merlot red with punchy cobalt blue, it’s difficult to know what to wear it with. So I hot-footed it down to New Look to browse the rails for two more ways to wear this skirt to the office.

There is a lot of print available in store at the moment. I knew I needed to stay clear of that. I didn’t want anything that would clash too much. I also wanted smart, but not prissy and didn’t want to over do it. So although there were some great merlot red and cobalt blue blazer style jackets… I steered clear of them.

I knew I was going to be wearing the InWear skirt with black opaque tights and I have a range shoes but I stumbled across these beauties; the Skewers shoe in burgundy; suede and patent for only £19.99. I love New Look shoes, they are so comfy, yet reasonably priced, have never hurt my feet and last an age. So I knew they would be a perfect finishing touch to my look.

And so for the top half. Well I’ve recently become a bit of a blouse lover… Chiffony, floaty and not too city like is my style. I love this cream Bubblehem Tshirt £14.99. I’m not normally a bubble hem kinda girl, but you can tuck this under and get a nice loose look and with the shoulders having a little lapel it looks smart but cute.

Plan B for the office is a simple three quarter length sleeve scoop neck tee in rich purple. A bargain at £4.99 and I can wear it under a black blazer, my cropped leather jacket or under a cream cardigan. These are all warming colours that give a great look. Perfect, I have my three ways with one skirt sorted for the office for 2013.

Whilst I was in store at New Look Tunbridge Wells, I also tried on some fab wax coated black jeans, I did look a little Sandy from Grease in them, so I didn’t purchase; but then I do have odd shaped runners legs. There are some great party dresses in store, but my Christmas party events are done and dusted now so I avoided adding even more to my collection. There was also a massive shoe sale.. but I passed on this, if you could see my shoe gallery, you’d know why!
