What’s this then, chaps? There’s a great big shiny yellow thing on the sky, and I don’t want to alarm you, but I can’t actually see any rain. Finally, our summer plans can commence! It’s a well known fact that one of the most enjoyable parts of going out is the process of getting ready, so it was with a knowing smile that I watched the latest video campaign for Boots and 17, featuring Mercedes. Whether you’re getting ready for an Olympics themed party, a BBQ or, like Mercedes you’re going OUT out, this video will strike a chord. Erm, no pun intended.

I’ve written before on this charming campaign, featuring a series of music videos designed to accompany the best and brightest products from the 17 range, and the latest incarnation is their Blow Out Mascara. Featuring an oversized brush that creates amazing volume, the mascara formula also contains ingredients like Vitamin E and Argan Oil, so it’s good inside and out.

It’s really important to replace your old mascara after three months of use, and I’m a nut about hygiene like that. My time using Fairy Drops (sourced from Japan and am absolute pain to come by) is running out, and I’m going to give Blow Out a try. It’s available in a wide range of colours, has completely adorable packaging, AND you can currently get a free eyeliner when you buy it from Boots.
