Spring/Summer 2010′s runways were a mix of pretty, playful and wearable clothing. Our Lookbook is a chance to be inspired and excited about the favourites of the season. Check out this seasons latest trends and a taste of how to recreate them from the high street.
Candy Daze
A fresh, youthful trend with a host of sorbets, pastels and candy colours. Perfect for bringing the girly back for spring/summer with some lovely silks, laces and a touch of pleated lace on the collar. Elle Magazine, May 10 says “nude is the colour for S/S 10. A nude draped dress is easy elegance for day and night”.

Hot Colour Blocking
Dominating the Spring/Summer are strong blocks of colour. Bright rainbow colours in floaty chiffon fabrics alongside tropical patterns and prints to make any outfit striking and hot. Daring but desirable this summer.

Nautical Numbers
This seasons hottest trend by far has been the nautical, breton style. As Grazia on 29th March said, “Breton stripy tops are a fashionista’s wardrobe staple”. Belts shapen up dresses, tops and add some extra edge to an outfit. This top takes the nautical theme without the traditional black/white or white/red colour scheme. Stone and blue stripes suiting the jeans and accessorised with a gorgeous corsage.

Tinker, Tailor
Smart tailoring can add definition to an outfit. This look encompasses the bold colour of the season alongside sharp tailoring of city shorts, teamed with some amazing sequinned show boots. The halterneck top allows for statement shoulders and the mix of black and hot colour creates a great line.

Vintage Glamour
A touch of class and style for the summer months. Sheer fabrics and nostalgic boudoir elegance together with trendy satin and girly ruffles). A very sophisticated look for day or night. Taking detailing in the bust line and shoes to bring out a simple but gorgeous dress. It may not be vintage but it oozes the glamour of the 1950′s era.
