Woohoo! LadyM Presents is 1 today, Tuesday 19th April 2011. We’d like to thank you so much for your support in the last year from our early days of fashion blogging to helping make us what we are today, a fantastic online fashion magazine.

LadyM Presents is one year old!

The past year has been a whirlwind of London Fashion Weeks, New Zealand Fashion Week, Tunbridge Wells Fashion Week, Style Savvy workshops, Magpie Vintage Fair’s and a lot of shopping in between!

We’ve discovered some fabulous boutiques in London, the South of England and across the World. More importantly we have met and promoted some amazing designers who we really feel are THE next thing in the fashion world. Z-Mode Fashion and Zoe Boomer, you may be at the end of the alphabet but we think you deserve to be right at the top!

September is the month for fashion, from the emerging Tunbridge Wells Fashion Week to the up and coming New Zealand Fashion Week to the world famous London Fashion Week.  But for those fashionistas and fashionable general public who can’t attend these fashion weeks there is a great event in October to bring you closer to the world of fashion and catwalks.

Britain’s Next Top Model Live – a brand new three day fashion event

Britain’s Next Top Model Live takes place between 22nd to 24th October at London’s ExCel centre. The show aims to bridge the gap between the Clothes Show Live and London Fashion week. Offering fashionistas’ something different, both aspiration and affordable from the high street as well as individual boutiques.

But this is no ordinary fashion event as the ever popular Living TV Series, Britain’s Next Top Model will be at the show. With models past and present as well as the judges attending the Live Show, taking part in Live Catwalks and offering advice from the Castings Couch. Industry experts will be on hand to share their insight into the fashion world at the Seminar Theatre and with plenty of shopping opportunities, this is the event to be at this Autumn.

The Ultimate Weekend Shopping Extravaganza

The event will combine the world of modelling with the world of fashion and is based on the hugely successful international reality TV show – presented by supermodel Elle McPherson. Britain’s Next Top Model Live is set to be London’s biggest Fashion and Beauty fix, and every girl’s essential event for this season’s trends. Dedicated followers of fashion and beauty will be able to experience the ultimate in retail therapy, with a range of fashion shows, exhibitions, shopping, beauty, health and fitness, and interactive features for this Autumn and Winter trends.

Visitors will be able to strut their stuff down the red carpet entrance to the Central Champagne Bar and into the largest selection of the UK’s leading high street brands and premium designer fashions, offering some of the latest sensationally stylish collections from the high-street and beyond.

This year’s event will also host a series of stunning hour-long Catwalk Shows. Featuring an inspiring range of fashion, designer gowns and unique creations from up and coming talent, and with special appearances from all of the girls from Britain’s Next Top Model series 6, alongside top music acts and spectacular live entertainment.

Visitors can come and learn how to walk the walk like the professionals on the purpose built Open Catwalk, while the BNTM Live photographers capturing your debut on camera. Alternatively pout, pose and feel the fame of being a model as you work the camera in the Paparazzi Zone with Company Magazine, an area dedicated to re-creating backdrops and photo shoots from series 6 as well as special locations from around London.

The Powder Room will offer free hair and beauty makeovers, pamper treatments and advice from beauty experts. At the Style Icon Workshops, you can learn the tricks of the trade from top industry experts that will guide you to become the ultimate fashionista.

Britain’s Next Top Model Series 7

The event is also offering visitors the unique opportunity to win a place in Living TV’s Britain’s Next Top Model Series 7 in 2011 with the BNTM Application Studio. Living TV will be recording Live auditions for applicants for the next series of BNTM. Alternatively, if you prefer to be behind the lens than on a catwalk, you can head for the Live Casting Couch where Models 1 will be seeking out the new faces for their future fashion and beauty campaigns.

From fashion, to beauty tips and pampering, personal styling and catwalk glamour, Britain’s Next Top Model Live is the must-see fashion and beauty event of the year, with something for every taste all under one roof.
