If you live in Tunbridge Wells, wider Kent or anywhere in the South East of England. If you are a) A lover of great live music b) Up for a great day out or c) Like helping out deserving Local Charities then this event is THE event you need to put on your family calendar.

The latest charity event to head to the village of Yalding, Kent is the Vicars Picnic! The aim is to raise as much money as possible for The Hospice in The Weald.

Hospice in the Weald is the leading specialist palliative care provider for the communities of West Kent and northern East Sussex.

They are not part of the NHS, but are a local charity rooted in the community, and offer varied but integrated services for people with progressive life limiting illnesses, their carers and families. They rely heavily on schools, groups, societies, clubs, businesses and individuals in the community to organise fundraising events on their behalf, and help raise the £5 million they need every year to provide their vital services.

The Vicars Picnic is a one day music festival on Saturday 14th September on Vicarage Road, Yalding, to raise funds for Hospice in the Weald. Held between 1pm and 10pm.

All profit from the event will go directly to The Hospice in The Weald.

Currently there are seven brilliant bands signed, a licensed Bar, food outlets, raffles, bouncy stuff, rodeo bull (brilliant!) and a whole lot more planned!

Tickets are a bargain – £12 for adults and £6 for kids.  If you are interested in attending please visit the website – www.vicarspicnic.co.uk
