Weekly Lust – Cashmere from Crumpet

Gosh it’s really getting chilly. Time for a wardrobe re-think. Out with the summer lightweight cottons and in with the cashmere and merino I think! Having stocked up on merino in New Zealand after Fashion Week I was lucky enough to be sent some cashmere to boost my winter stocks too.

It just so happens that I was lusting after practically the entire Autumn/Winter collection from British powerhouse of cashmere; Crumpet and lucky old me, I got to test out this week’s #weeklylust the Raglan Sweater. AW13 at Crumpet is all about “acidic yellows, dreamy marble swirls and punch pop-art motifs”, could cashmere BE more exciting!

Colour Block Cashmere Raglan Sweater

So I’m all for a bit of colour block in summer, bright and bold. But I was actually rather keen to blend into the Autumnal hues this season. This is why I just love the Colour Block Cashmere Raglan Sweater from Crumpet; in particular in mushroom and white.

Crumpet Cashmere

Not normally my colour scheme for the season but I was drawn to how warm and cosy this sweater looked. Boy, I was not wrong – I’ve worn it practically every weekend since the clocks fell back an hour. It is dry clean only, so I have to choose my wearing of it with the cleaning schedule but it is such a sumptuous, soft top, I just want to wear it day in, day out.

LadyM Presents Crumpet Cashmere

Here I teamed it with Boden cropped bistro trousers and Zara baby pink studded flats after St Albans Fashion Week.

Crumpet

Here’s a little about the stylish brand that is Crumpet. The brand was launched in 2006 and is all about edgy luxe teamed with style and glamour in key wardrobe staples. They are legends in the sexy delicate cashmere pieces and are loved by fashionistas such as Vogue editor Alexandra Shulman, Jemima Khan and Claudia Schiffer.

I’ve had a sneak peak at their Cruise 14 collection and it is divine. It;s all about leopard print cashmere and luxe biker jackets in tartan. Effortlessly cool and a little retro-inspired. Crumpet use the finest luxury yarns and all their soft staple pieces are knitted and hand-finished by hand in Kathmandu, Nepal.
