This week’s weekly lust piece the amazing and eye catching Rianna Phillips Burleigh Multi Mini clutch. The clutch bag is inspired by the surfing district of Byron Bay in an area called ‘The Pass’. Intense blue and purple jellyfish were scattered along the shore. The clutch is a mix of cotton canvas and metallic Napa leather. Photographs of the jellyfish make up the foundation print of this design. Layered upon this are geometrical patterns and tranquil crystal agates.
For any fashion magpies out there, Rianna’s gorgeous shiny accessories are definitely pieces to covet. All her accessories are handmade in Britain. The fabrics are printed locally in Manchester, England and the designs are 100% original Rianna Phillips creations.
The inspirations behind the designer’s eye catching prints are cultivated from two constant themes that combine and contrast beautifully: Organic and Synthetic. Masculine stainless steel bolts and rivets are intentionally placed side by side with bright feminine hand drawn florals, creating one off 3D style textures which are digitally printed onto fabrics.
