In a month, thousands of music fans wearing their best music festival garb and sunglasses will flock to the Reading festival during the August bank holiday. Since the 1960s, the Reading Festival has been taking the main stage amongst a myriad of summer festivals. Playing every summer, without interruptions, it makes it the oldest on-going music festival in the world. Due to its immense popularity, the Leeds festival was born as a spin off so that music lovers from all over Britain can create lifelong memories.
Every year, both festivals share the same line-up and occur on the same weekend. This year, festival goers are spoiled to an unbelievable line-up of bands playing on 7 different stages.

Music festival fashion is an unusual equilibrium between style and function as there are many surprises for unprepared festival goers including unpredictable weather, mosh pits and the countless hours of standing and dancing (when you feel like it). Let’s take a minute to look at the clothing choices of local festival goers. The first two lovely girls are from the Reading Festival last year. 
Unfortunately with our British erratic weather, wellies are a must to keep your feet from harm and safe from all the rain, mud, and puddles of spilled alcohol everywhere. Sunglasses and denim shorts are another music festival essential as a dress might not be the most comfortable choice nor the most practical one for this occasion.
