Jenny Packham Bridal
I’m so exciting to launch a new feature here at LadyM Presents. As I am newly engaged to the lovely Mr LadyM (Steven) and I’ve joined the world of bridal madness/fun, I thought it would be great to launch a #weddinglust piece in the style of our #weeklylust concept.
Jenny Packham Bridal
I’ve already got my bridal magazines in the magazine rack and when browsing through Brides magazine I came across the competition to win a Jenny Packham Bridal Dress. Entry is via the formation of a Pinterest board, and boy do I love a bit of pinning. You can see my entry here and my choice of the five Jenny Packham dresses. I chose the Leila for a little vintage glamour.
Jenny Packham Bridal is my #weddinglust this week. Her designs are exquisite and it would be an honour to wear British bridal down the aisle at my wedding.
The 2015 Bridal collection was “inspired by the photographs of 1930’s British society photographer, Madame Yevonde, specifically a series of portraits of society ladies dressed in classical costumes, known as ‘The Goddesses’.” Jenny Packham.
The designs mix an opulent world of antiquity, strength and glamour with the modern, romantic world.
I love the neoclassical feel to the collection and the soft, subtle palette used. Classic ivory mixes with buttermilks and champagne. French lace is popular, whilst Jenny Packham’s signature beading takes centre stage.
Packham’s designs are feminine and graceful and fall perfectly into my French vintage theme.
