Last week I featured the Spring/Summer 14 collection at Pure Collection. The home of British designed cashmere and a rainbow of colours that brighten up the stores across the country and are itching to be in your wardrobe.

Today I was complemented on wearing my Mint Leaf Raglan Sweatshirt – a “smart yet beautiful colour to brighten the day” noted one colleague. It’s a luxurious look that kept me warm on a Spring day and definitely uplifted a Tuesday morning that’s for sure.

My #weeklylust piece is actually a piece I was lusting after last week, and was lucky enough to be gifted it by Pure Collection. Since seeing their SS14 lookbook some weeks ago I have been coveting this piece. Why? Simply because it isn’t something I would normally wear. This is way out of my colour radar but I really want to try out bold punchy colours this season.

The Sunset Orange Cashmere Cable Sweater is simply divine. Yes it does pack a punch in the colour stakes, but on a bright sunny day, toned down with a touch of navy or black it blends into a spring look in a fabulous way. The cashmere is the softest it can be; taken from the belly hair of Inner Mongolian goats and dyed before being woven to give a great colour consistency.

I love the simply shape and crew neckline (although I daren’t wear a necklace that might get caught up in the lovely cashmere), the ¾ sleeve make it a great summer piece and it is available in Lemonade, Sailor Blue, Blossom, Heather Mint, Heather Silver and Sunset Orange – I’d just love to have one of each to have an array of amazing ice cream and sorbet hues to choose from!

I am already dreaming up outfit combinations for the office, for the weekend and for Spring time weekends away! Plus the good news is, this cashmere doesn’t need to be dry cleaned, a good but careful handwash is all that is needed!
