I love fashion, I love design, I, LadyM have all kind of ideas for fashion design in my head – but with one major problem; I cannot draw to save my life. I’ve always wanted to design my own handbag. How cool would that be – have your own colours, textures, concepts, styles.

I know you can do this with shoes at UpperStreet and the craze for personalised design is really taking off. So, when I found out BagServant the online handbag emporium, was running a bag design competition. Well you could say I was on it, like a fashion editor is on the front row at London Fashion Week!

Not only will you win the handbag if it receives enough votes, the voters can be in with a chance of winning Reiss vouchers and tickets to a London styling event!
I had a little play with the competition entry – technically I can’t enter as I am on the judging panel, but I chose a Sophie Satchel, in a teal blue, with a grey strap and a mulberry flap. Teal blue is one of my favourite colours. This is the perfect size for carrying all my essentials without being too big and this colour will certainly let it stand out from the crowd.

The fashion panel will pick their favourite bag and BagServant will write about the bag on their blog from a shortlist.
