Damson Jewellery – The Background

Damson works to promote British design and craftsmanship, working with some of Britain’s most innovative designer-makers. Every piece of jewellery is handmade, so each one is unique!

Founded in 2007 by Fiona McInroy, Damson Jewellery specialises in luxury-end handmade jewellery that can be tailored to the individual from some of Britain’s most innovative and exciting designer-makers. Fiona sources jewellery that combines originality with fantastic workmanship creating a collection of covetable, contemporary pieces you’d never find on the high street. Everything is made in small quantities guaranteeing a unique piece and, upon special request, Damson can often adapt a piece just for you, adding a sprinkling of diamonds for example or making a ring in white gold instead of yellow gold.

Fiona’s aim was, and still is today, to promote British design and craftsmanship from smaller manufacturers and designers at affordable prices, targeting customers looking for high quality, individual pieces with timeless appeal rather than mainstream branded products.

Hummingbird Earrings

Part of Aradia’s Enchanted Garden Collection, the hummingbird earrings are hand carved in exquisite detail and come in sterling silver, 22ct gold plated silver and 18ct yellow or rose gold. Birds are big this Spring/Summer in the accessories department and we think these earrings are just beautiful.

Maire Walshe Buds of Love Pendant

The perfect romantic gift, this lovely hand-made pendant is the latest addition to Marie’s lovely ‘winter forest’ collection. Delicate and pretty, the heart shaped bud pendant represents love bursting into life. These pendants are cast from real twigs and buds and the pendant comes in sterling silver or 22ct vermeil and can be worn with the earrings, hoops or bangles from the same collection. Peculiar Vintage – Arrow Cluster Necklace

This romantic ‘Love’ necklace comes in sterling silver with a cluster of delicate charms. A vintage-inspired swallow and an unusual arrow cluster are teamed with a 24ct gold-dipped puff heart and a silver ‘Love’ tag which can be personalised with your own word or initials. Swallows and doves have been ever-present in the accessories collections across the high street recently and this necklace fits the bill perfectly.

Marie Walshe Shell Cufflinks

Finally our favourite piece from DamsonVicky’s chunky little treasure chest necklace comes in solid sterling silver or 18ct vermeil. The chest has a heart shaped clasp and opens to reveal a tiny frosted rock crystal heart on a fine swing chain. Delicate, dainty and quite unique.
