Fashion is the second largest industry in the world, after food. As a Fruit Importer I feel my work is done for the first industry, so here I would like to open up my work for the second largest industry and present to you the wonderful brand that is Derhy.
Derhy
Derhy has over the years transformed itself into a ‘creation corporation’. The Parisian fashion house is led by Yvette and René Derhy, who surround themselves by fabulous stylists. I came across them in a supplement to Elle Magazine and was instantly hooked. Derhy is positioning itself in between the luxury and mass market with feminine, romantic pieces with an ethnic twist.
Their Spring/Summer collection features lovely flowing lines, emphasises this seasons neutrals and masters florals in a truly classy way.

Presenting the Lainerie Rober, a cute take on the nautical theme. Stylish, sophisticated, bold colours. Think cafe au lait in the sunshine in Paris, lunch with the ladies in the champagne city of Reims.
Tigre Combinaison

The Tigre Combinaison is a playful take on pastels and soft florals. Perfect for the beach with great wedges, or a relaxed bbq in the late afternoon sunshine with friends. The sea blue is a really warming tone, perfectly matched with some hot coral pink accessories.
Sanctuaire Robe

The fabulous Sanctuaire Robe is elegant enough for afternoon cocktails but fancy enough for an evening of understated style at an awards dinner. The detailing on the upper line and hem is subtle but vibrant. Encompassing soft neutrals, its one of my favourite pieces from the collection.
Along with tassled shoes, hair accessories and handbags that soften the edges of an already smooth collection, the models wear carefree, soft curls and messy, unruly hair. Its a very laid back presentation that oozes summer time bliss.
Summary
Since 2000 the brand has modernized with a new sense of style and international presence. Rene Derhy describes himself as “with anti-conformist DNA” and his creativity continues to distinguish his brand in a globalized world of fashion.
