Cailles de Luxe – Jewellery from the heart of Paris

If you are sick and tired of this golden curb chain you are wearing since your birth or of those earrings your ex-boyfriend bought for your birthday, maybe it’s time for you to take a look in Cailles de Luxe.

Situated in the cool district of Bastille, this shop was founded by Marion and Morganne, two textile designers who carefully invent their collections in their Parisian workshop. The raw material is selected on very judicious criteria before being entrusted to a gilder, and each element of a jewel is hunted with love and contributes to the design of an original and meticulous object. That is certainly how they always manage to develop a small collection of very unique pieces.

So here, you can find a pretty cool jewel collection made up of funny pieces such as golden-feather bracelets and pendants as attractive as candies. As well as plastic dogs bodies cut into pieces that act as necklaces and even t-shirts with the head of the former French first lady, Bernadette Chirac (yes, someone did it!)

Actually, the shop is full of surprising and unexpected pieces that you never could have imagined, even in your most harebrained dreams. Now, you know why Parisian fashionistas like to go there: every single piece seems to have been created in an other enchanted galaxy, looks like a magical accessory and, last but not least, is unique. Which is quite a strong argument when one of your goals in life is to distance yourself from the rest of the mortals.

In addition to selling their own collection, Marion and Morganne also promote young and inventive creators products such as Charlotte Sometime or Krouk Madame as well as talented artists’ works which fill the walls of the shop. Cailles de Luxe host exhibitions once a month, which is the occasion for the public to chat with future world-famous photographers, add a new ring to our collection and drink some beers.

Concerning the prices, they are not so high for a handmade work. A necklace will cost you between 20 and 75 euros, a bracelet between 19 and 35 euros and a ring about 15 euros. In other words, Cailles de Luxe is the perfect shop if you desire a sparkling jewel but that your credit card was declined at Swarovski!

From now on, you definitely have no excuse to keep wearing your ex-boyfriend’s presents.
