Spring is here! Well, almost. At least the snow has melted and we’ve finally got temperatures in the double figures. Not quite t-shirt weather, but it’s getting there!
Spring Style For Your Big Day
- Marabou feathers were everywhere, from necklines to skirts. I love their soft, romantic look and think they add something extra special to a classic dress
- 1930s style dresses with lots of lace are key for vintage-inspired weddings – the full A-line skirts at Provonias and Ritva Westenius definitely caught my eye
- When I got married the trend was very much for strapless dresses, but things seem to be changing and dresses with straps and a V neckline are becoming more and more popular
- Wide petticoats make for a fairytale wedding dress – think Anna in the King and I. I can just see this season’s brides swishing across the dancefloor in true princess fashion!
Engagement photoshoots
If you’re getting married this year, I hope everything’s coming together and things are looking fabulous. If you’ve chosen your dress, organised the venue and practised your first dance, how about booking an engagement photo shoot?
Spring is the perfect time for an engagement shoot. I take natural, relaxed photos in locations that are special to you – maybe the home you share, a beautiful garden you both love or something more urban that reflects your life together. When you’ve chosen your favourite images from the shoot, you could buy a coffee table book with them all displayed – a gorgeous thank you gift for helpful mums.
If you’d like to find out more about my engagement photo shoots, visit my website and feel free to get in touch.
See you next month
