How to Achieve that Fabulously Festive Party Look
You’ve probably got your festive outfits all planned and ready to go equipped with matching shoes and accessories but what about your make up? Check out these top tips to creating the perfect party look for this festive season:
Back to Basics
Ok so first things first, you need a hard working foundation that will last all night and won’t fade or smudge, something like the Colour Ideal foundation from Lancome. Something many of us find difficult is choosing the right colour for our skin tone – if you’re going for the natural effect you should choose the colour that is the closest to your natural skin tone.
When you’re trying different shades you should try to do it in natural light. Don’t try applying it to your hand because it won’t match your face, the best thing to do is apply a small amount to your jaw line, this way you can ensure you get a colour that will match your skin and your neck. For the immaculate look, choose a colour that is slightly lighter than your natural skin colour.
Luscious Lashes
The party season is the perfect time to pull out all the stops so why not try some false eyelashes for the Christmas party. You could choose some that will make your eyelashes look lusciously long and thick or you could add a bit of sparkle and choose a pair with a bit of glitter. Make sure you practice putting them on before the big night though as they can be tricky. If you’re lucky enough to have naturally long lashes then you could show them off with a few coats of good quality mascara.
Extravagant Eyes
