Jane Shilton – Handbags & Shoes

Over 70 years ago, Alexander Shilton founded a handbag company in the City of London, it was very successful and continued even through the outbreak of World War Two. Alex himself went into active service and the factory turned from handbags to gas masks in order to help the war effort. During this time the factory was run by Alex’s fabulous secretary, Jane and when Alex returned safe and well from war he married Jane and renamed the company Jane Shilton.

Today, from the company’s headquarters in London, Jane Shilton delivers a touch of British fashion magic across the world, where there is high demand for the handbags and shoe collections as well as leather goods. The collections are largely hand-made and strive to maintain fine quality and good value from design to delivery.
