Miss Patisserie – Delicacies for your bath time!

Every now and again; mostly on a Sunday. I take myself off to the bathroom, light some candles, run a bath, get my book (and usually a glass of white wine) and get ready for a nice long soak. It is “my time”. A perfect way to chill out. I have been looking for sometime, for fabulous treats to put in my bath to fill the air with heavenly scents and to soak and soothe my tired body. Plus I wanted to explore a little about buying British for my bath time.

Miss Patisserie

When I stumbled across Miss Patisserie my eyes and my stomach were in for a treat. But then on closer inspection, I realised it wasn’t my stomach that was going to benefit but my bath time chill sessions. You see Miss Patisserie is not cakes for consumption but fabulous bath delicacies in the shape of Parisian patisserie delights. Miss Patisserie was founded in 2009 by Charlotte Ridgwell who has a great love for beauty and bath products. Charlotte has mixed her passion for beautiful illustration, patisseries and boulangeries in her fabulous bath products brand.

The company started in her kitchen and the infamous ‘Bath Bake’ was born. At the start Miss Patisserie products were sold at craft fayres and a few local shops and the business grew from there. Now the brand can be found in over 150 stores in UK and are also sold in Europe and Australia. What is more and why Miss Patisserie is featured today is that all the products are British made. Being rustled up in Cardiff, South Wales by a fantastic team of Miss Patisserie ‘Chefs’.

So what delightful and beautiful treats can you find from Miss Patisserie. Mini Bath Bakes; cupcakes for the bath! Use one Bath Bake per bath. Peel off the cupcake wrapper and drop the whole Bath Bake in the bath. After the base has completely fizzed away use the top as an exfoliator by gently rubbing dry areas of your skin in a circular motion, and get a little glittery whilst you’re at it.

macaroons

There are Macaroon Melts which fizz slowly in your bath releasing beautiful perfumes and nourishing cocoa butter and sweet almond oil – I think these are my favourite. Or there are ice lollies and cake slices! Wow! Plus all reasonably priced too; so you can treat yourself to one of each if you like! Yum.

They are available in Harrods, Fenwicks, Bentalls and online.

    Hello,
Wonderful article on Miss Patisserie, as a result I have contacted the company to see if I can stock their products. I am a new business, web based at the moment but trying to get some showroom space. My business is Fair Trade and Handmade, I have a Handmade in the UK section and all the Fair trade can be traced back to the makers, with information on how selling to the UK helps them educate their children and keep them safe whilst they work. I feel passionate about buying with thought and making a difference to others.
I wonder if you would like to take a look at my website and let me know what you think.

    Regards
    Heather
