The wait is over – Phillip Lim at Avenue 32
January for me in 2014 features a self imposed shopping ban. So I’m getting in my online browsing before it starts and coveting a lot of pieces for a February shop, just in time for London Fashion Week and outfit choices. Perfect timing. What is also perfect timing is the fabulous arrival of new season pieces from Phillip Lim, available at the online shopping mecca that is Avenue 32.
3.1 Phillip Lim pieces are always on the fashionista’s shopping list. The collection always has a contemporary feel and is perfect for today’s feminine urban woman. For Spring/Summer 13 I love the candy coloured hues that feature in the collection. Sophisticated pieces that are wearable and often understated.

Here are my favourite pieces from the new collection, available at Avenue 32.
Aqua Nude Leather Tank Dress – there is something so simple, yet so exquisite about this dress. Camel crepe dress with a turquoise scuba-leather yoke – I’m at the beach, I’m sipping cocktails at the bar as the sun sets…….
Grey Melange Baseball Tank – sports luxe seems to be hanging around for good. Get the look with this baseball tank and team with peg leg trousers in contrasting navy or cropped white shorts for a Resort 2014 look that everyone will be envious off. Just team with heels to add that extra touch of glamour.
Peony Stripe Tuxedo Trousers – ok, I know these pack a rather large colour punch but they caught my eye and I can’t stop thinking about them. Pink is the colour for 2014, and these tailored tuxedo trousers with their inset seamed stripes at the sides are a closet essential. Go on.. be brave!
As well as amazing clothes Phillip Lim also designs fabulous footwear and sought after bags. These are my two big loves from the new season and current collection.
The black and white 31 hour bag.. if only there were 31 hours in a day! A great investment piece that will see you from season to season.
Boots for winter are always a tricky one. I’m not one to go straight for basic black. Which is why I love these Contrast Danny Boots for a look that is just a little bit different. A sleek almond toe shape and dappled textured leather. Sport with skinny jeans and a boyfriend blazer or a chunky sweater and cord skirt this season.
