Twitter for me is a great social networking opportunity to learn about new deisgners, boutiques, websites, anything fresh, funky and going places. This week I came across the great new website that was launched earlier this year.
LadyUmbrella
LadyUmbrella who have created some unique and quirky ladies t-shirts designed by Spanish artist Elena Montes Casado. LadyUmbrella are based in Dublin, Ireland. They literally launched their site on the 20th January and are already shipping around the world in their first week. They are also now stock their fab tees in the very stylish and trendy Emma Boutique in Dublin.
Wise Owls, LadyUmbrella
The t-shirts all feature their leading lady, LadyUmbrella, in a variety of scenes and scenarios with a host of her feathered friends. LadyUmbrella came to be when Elena, their Spanish designer, arrived in Dublin from Madrid and was surrounded by streets full of people carrying umbrellas – an unfamiliar site. The umbrellas obscured and hid peoples faces and the idea for LadyUmbrella was born. There is a story behind each individual tee shirt design.

It has taken over a year to get LadyUmbrella from concept to reality and the team have done a great job. I simply love their simple but fun tshirts and cannot wait to get my hands on with this great “Away with the Birds” funky tee.
