Winner! Sanctuary Retreats #virtualsuitcase competition

Exciting news, my feature on Sanctuary Retreats in their ultimate #virtualsuitcase competition, has won me some fabulous prizes.  I can’t tell you the last competition I have won… Hmmm probably fancy dress of some kind. Anyway, the #virtualsuitcase concept was all about what would I pack for a Sanctuary Retreats holiday and my choice of destination was safari in Botswana.

Luggage allowance was not a factor and money no object.  You can see my choices of items here.  The team at Sanctuary Retreats loved my feature, “Lady M wins as they really thought about the practicalities of safari and their destination, with good explanations. I particularly liked their nod to the safari heritage with their vintage suitcase. Their clothing choices thought about practicalities of weather, style and even plenty of pockets!” and their Marketing Manager David particularly liked my addition of the champagne cooler to the “must have” items.

My fabulous prize arrived this week and I though I’d share the goodies with you.  It was a great pleasure to receive not one but two Lulu Guinness luggage pieces.  Firstly the Bell Boy trolley duffle case in black.  The team must have known about my love of travelling and the iconic landmarks of Paris and London as the print on the bag is just perfect.

Plus it’s a great size for my short trips away for work.  In addition there was the very cute Doll Face icon vanity case which will be perfect for stashing all my makeup away, neat and tidily.

The second part of the prize is a great treat.  A selection of beauty and body treats from the fabulous Bath & Unwind company.   A one stop shop for fantastic products for the mind, body and spirit, Bath & Unwind host a fabulous array of brands online and I got a little sample of them.

This Works is one of my favourite new finds having experienced their lovely relaxing lavender pillow spray in a hotel in Amsterdam recently.  In my special prize package is their In Transit Defence and In Transit First  Aid.  Having suffered with a few insect bites in my recent business trip to Spain, the First Aid for all spots, bites, itches and skin ailments, will solve my skin troubles with its “expert blend of soothing Rosewood, antiseptic Petitgrain, balancing a Geranium and calming Lavender”.

The Korres range that I know people are raving about, has hit our shores from Greece. Fruit based and highly concentrated in natural active ingredients, George an Lena Korres bring amazing homeopathic products to our beauty cupboards. I can’t wait to try the mango shower gel, pomegranate face wipes (perfect for the gym), the coconut body milk and the watermelon body scrub.

As a busy company Director and fashion Editor, relaxation is key to me.  So to have the Cowshed Wild Cow invigorating bath and body oil in the pack really is a treat.  I can run a nice relaxing warm bath and pour in the essential oils of lemongrass, ginger and rosemary to ease away day as well as having a nice massage to soothe my aching muscles and calm my mind.

Thanks to the Sanctuary Retreats team for such fabulous prizes and it really was a pleasure writing about safari style and dreaming of adventure in Botswana.
