Vintage fashion is still on trend this Autumn/Winter. Having attended an evening of delightful socialising at retro shop Stuff & Good Sense, in Tunbridge Wells this week, the feeling is it is here to stay. Not just in our clothing but also in our interiors. This week we were also introduced to Scaramanga who specialise in vintage and retro interiors and fashion.
Scaramanga – a treasure trove of vintage
Direct from Fife in Scotland, interiors and fashion brand Scaramanga is dedicated to designing and sourcing unique vintage and retro fashion, interiors and furniture from Britain and around the world. They breathe inspirational new life into classically made British products, reviving them to their former glory and highlighting their high quality British craftsmanship.
From Wooden travelling chests and vintage spice boxes, where the scent of spices still lingers deep in the wood, to bound journals covered in jewel toned sari fabrics and embossed leathers there is a depth and sumptuousness to the products available from Scaramanga. Their products represent exclusivity and rarity, every item is unique with its own story to tell and distinguishing qualities and that is what we love about Scaramanga.
Satchels and Bags
Scaramanga inspire women and men with their stylish, practical and high quality fashion accessories which help them to lead their busy lives whilst looking chic. As one of the pioneers of the revival of the satchel, over the past five years they have developed a range of beautiful leather satchels and bags to suit all intents and purposes – whether you’re using them to store your laptop and iPad or packing them up for a spontaneous weekend away. The bags come in a range of sizes and styles and marry the high quality British craftsmanship with contemporary functionality and style. If you buy one of Scaramanga’s satchel bags it will be one of a kind, as all the bags have a slightly different finish and Scaramanga do not mass produce their products.
The brown leather messenger bag has been seen in Vogue, Glamour and GQ and the vintage appeal of their collection is getting the fashion press buzzing.
Scaramanga also do a range of canvas and fabric bags, jewellery, wooly shawl wraps (which we already have on order!) and very cute retro purses. Its edging towards that Christmas shopping time and if you want to be in your friends and family good books, Scaramanga is the place to buy them a real treat.
In addition to their online boutique they have premises in Cupar, Fife (close to St. Andrews) which is well worth a visit if you are in the local area. We will be keeping our eyes on this site for weeks to come, the bank balance might be hit hard whilst LadyM Towers is redecorated.

Hey! Your words are so informative yet beautiful! I enjoy reading your article quite a lot! I am convinced that the vintage style is going to enjoy its day! Not only in the field of clothes, but also in other field such as bags. Actually I love various bags from Wooden travelling chests and vintage spice boxes.
