If you’re not aware of the explosion this season of summer floral designs and hair styled in high buns yet. Then where have you been? There is strong sense of Spanish style to the trend this season and you can recreate it.

See it with your own eyes in the eclectic fashion boutiques of Palma de Majorca. Vivid colours such as orange, yellow and green, mixed with exotic flowers are a must, and the best place to get them is Spain. Although Madrid and Barcelona may have more recognition, Majorca combines Spanish-inspired fashion with natural treasures for your summer holidays.

Let’s have a sneak peek into Majorca’s hidden gems so that when you arrive there, you won’t need to waste any time away from your shopping. The most popular central areas are Passing des Born and Jaume III Avenue, where you can find a wide range of boutiques, such as Loewe with luxury leather goods, Massimo Dutti and the grand, El Corte Ingles. You can browse the latest collections in Zara and H&M, or if you prefer browsing the higher end stores, there is also Luis Vuitton and Hugo Boss.

If you get bored with wearing the same clothes, then I would recommend you to skip for something more alternative. Why don’t you head towards Santa Catalina where you will find b connected, a clothing boutique, with a more selective variety of clothes? For something even more alternative such as the gypsy trend, then a great place to visit is Alpalpateria Fornes in Sant Miquel, which is specialised in handmade woven straw shoes and bags.

On a Sunday, there is the “Sa Bimbolla night fair”, where you can find handmade jewels that have been made by locals within a festive atmosphere, full of traditional dance, Catalan notes and spicy tastes. The festival takes place just off Soller road, and it lasts from 18:00 till 02:00. Another late night shopping event within Majorca is on a Thursday during the summer season. The shops are open until midnight, whilst on all other days, shops are open until 21:00.

A great place to stay whilst you are in Majorca is at the THB Sa Coma Platja Apartments, which is close to everything that you will need during your stay. As you can see, Majorca is a great destination for girls that love to shop, with the added pleasure of the sun, sand and sea.
