At this time of year as I approach Charing Cross on the train from Kent I see the lights glinting on the Thames and I get little butterflies flittering around in my stomach….this is the time of year for shopping for loved ones and sneaky treats for yourself, cosy nights out to hip bars, layering of pieces and sparkling accessories.

Last Friday I met my lovely friend Rachel B and we hot-footed it to Somerset House for the Fashion Revolution exhibition and a sneaky peak at SHOWStudio shoot for i-D magazine. We got there too late to see Vivienne Westwood but we had a great time at the exhibition, it brought fashion to light and got our creative senses buzzing.

The exhibition was swiftly followed by a good catch up over divine dinner and a few glasses of wine to move softly into the weekend.

Christmas party season commenced for me with first Christmas Soirée – black tie event, copious amounts of wine consumed, gorgeous dresses and a lot of fun. Lets just day the gossip was flowing on Monday morning!! I teemed a new design from Very with my favourite gold snakeskin heels from a great boutique in Hong Kong. It wasn’t the best night in history but we made the most of it.

Finally I get to enjoy a days holiday this week; I’m heading up to my favourite part of London, the South Bank for lunch with my darling mother and a bit of Christmas shopping. But prior to that I will be attending the Orla Keily sample sale in a secret location in London and in a fashionable part of town that I am yet to get accustomed too. I can’t wait and it will be worth getting up early on my day off for.

I’m finally starting to feel that little bit Christmassy and can’t wait to spend some time with family and friends as well as have some fabulous nights out in my new dresses that seem to have appeared in my wardrobe this week, courtesy of some very great online fashion boutiques.
