Sponsored Video: Selfridges Womens Designer Galleries

It’s no secret that Selfridges is probably my favourite department store in the world. It’s not just the fact that I can spend hours navigating shelves of exciting tea and buying Pinkberry frozen yogurt in their Food Hall, or even losing myself in choosing Moleskine notebooks in the deliciously ginormous stationery department.

No, it’s also their ongoing curation of some of the best fashion brands, and the ongoing development of their clothing galleries. I’m always keen to hear about what Selfridges are up to, so was delighted to be sent a video charting what the fashion team were up to.

Selfridges Women’s Designer Galleries

Press play on the video below to hear Allanah Weston, creative director at Selfridges, discuss the development of the galleries. Selfridges have played an absolute blinder on this one, once again establishing themselves as a unique store with a huge amount to offer. Selfridges always seem to have that extra sparkle, a little touch of fun and magic so often lacking in large stores.

The Designer Galleries have been carefully planned and overseen by the top team of buyers and directors at Selfridges, and are sure to be a wonderful edition to the store. Top designer brands such as Givenchy, Balenciaga and Alexander McQueen will all sit around the sides of the room, while the special Selfridges ‘edit’ of brands can be found at the centre.

Allanah and Sebastian Manes, Buying Director at Selfridges, have visited designers to pull the best looks, and together with a team of stylists and photographers have created beautiful images of the garments, which will be exclusively available at Selfridges London, and also on the Selfridges website.
