With Valentine’s Day nearly upon us, it is inevitable that the ladies will be thinking the same few words ‘But what do I wear’ Depending on where you are planning your Valentine’s Day will depend on what you wear for the occasion. I have the same dilemma every year, which is why this year I thought I should be a little bit more prepared and plan for every possible scenario.

What to wear for Valentine’s Day

If you are a hopeless romantic and completely loved up it will be more than likely that you will be spending the day with your other half, so I have created a what to wear guide to prepare you girls for anything he may surprise you with:

Cosy Night in

Yes you are still in your house but that doesn’t mean the pyjamas should come on and the makeup should come off. Valentine’s Day should be one of the most romantic days of the year so this means that you should still make the effort. Understandable that you may not want to wear your highest of heals and skin tight dress but remember…it is important to dress to impress.

I have chosen this beautiful gold and cream lace dress as its pretty, elegant and perfect to show you have made the effort. Considering the weather outside this wouldn’t be an ideal outfit choice; however, as this is a night in with you and your other half you can get away with this floral attire.

Romantic meal at your favourite restaurant

Monochrome is incredibly popular for this season, so why not stick with the trends and opt the traditional little black dress with a twist. As we all know the weather is looking a little bit bleak outside, so invest in a pair of black skinny jeans and some stylish calf length boots, you will stay warm during the winter showers and still look fantastically elegant for your valentines celebrations.
