Having spent the last four weeks in flat shoe, trying to fix a running injury, I am desperate to get back into my heels. I also have a few events coming up so I need to be raised a few inches and styling out a fabulous pair of shoes. But I also know that about two hours into the event I will really start to suffer with painful feet. This is where Butterfly Twists come in.

Butterfly Twists

They are the perfect solution to remaining stylish even when wearing flats. Plus I can pop a pair in my clutch bag and take them to the event as they are foldable ballerinas.

Butterfly Twists is a ballerina and boot brand for women, founded in 2007 and launched in London in 2009 by Emmanuel Eribo, Frank Eribo, Mark Quaradeghini and Philippe Homsy. This unique fashion-forward brand was born after one of them (who shall remain nameless) knew exactly what it felt like to be in a woman’s shoes after losing a bet and attending a party wearing a pair of 6 inch stilettos! Okay, so no questions asked about that. But this means that this great brand was launched, that is all about fabulous shoes for everyday.

I love the idea of dashing around town in the variety of amazing shoes from Butterfly Twists, which you can see here. You can wear them all day everyday if you like. But you can also have them as your go-to pair for commuting, dancing, getting across town, and then pop them back in your bag and put your heels on for that important meeting, event, or date.

The Sophia is a lovely shoe, a classic ballerina with a little dusting of metallic sparkle, which is perfect for Autumn/Winter 14.
