Yes it’s the first day of February, so let the promotion of Valentine’s Day commence! Yes I know it might just seem a marketing gimmick but sometimes it is nice to really make an effort to show your loved ones you care.

I know you should say ‘I love you’ whenever you like, not just because the date is 14th February and I always show people I appreciate them no matter what the date. But sometimes it is nice to push the boat out, go that little bit further and surprise the love of your life.

Next sent me a gorgeous bouquet of flowers last week. The whole office was very excited to see what was inside the box. Carefully I took them out and was wowed by the brightness of the blooms. Make sure you take any flowers out of their packaging as soon as possible, cutting their stems at the base on an angle and using enough water in your vase to keep them blooming and fresh for a while.

Take inspiration from the beautiful blooms and put a smile on someones face whether they are your wife, girlfriend, lover, mum, sister, best friend – or even the man in your life.
